At Ahsaas Trust, we recognize that education is a lifelong journey—and it’s never too late to begin. Our Adult Literacy Program is designed to empower women, especially single mothers, who were denied access to education in their early years.

This initiative provides basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills to help them navigate daily life with confidence, from reading signs and filling out forms to helping their children with schoolwork.

Through evening classes held in community centers across underserved areas of Karachi, women are given a safe, supportive environment to learn at their own pace. The goal is not only literacy—but dignity, independence, and opportunity.
